Postdoc day, Seminar 3: The stable cohomology of self-equivalences of connected sums of products of spheres

Higher algebraic structures in algebra, topology and geometry

I will explain an identification of the cohomology of the stable classifying space of homotopy automorphisms (relative to an embedded disk) of connected sums of S^k x S^l, where 2 < k < l < 2k - 1. The result is expressed in terms of Lie graph complex homology, the construction of which I will recall.
