The regularity of the linear drift in negatively curved spaces

Consider the Brownian motion on the universal cover of a closed connected Riemannian manifold with negative sectional curvature. The linear drift is a dynamical quantity, which tells the average shift of the Brownian motion from its starting point in time. In this talk, I will present some joint work with F. Ledrappier on the regularity of the linear drift with respect to metic change.
