A series representation for all Bernoulli convolutions, and some experiments with Bernoulli convolutions and brain data

Fractal Geometry and Dynamics

26 October 14:00 - 14:50

Christoph Bandt - Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald

The family of all Bernoulli convolutions can be considered as a single L2 function F defined on a rectangle. We present a series representation of F using moments and Legendre polynomials. In a second part of the talk we consider scaling quantities in Bernoulli measures and in certain medical data.
