Algebraic and geometric aspects of numerical methods for differential equations

02 July - 06 July 2018

The central aim of the conference is to bring together researchers with widely different backgrounds, to discuss and advance the understanding and application of geometric and algebraic techniques to numerical analysis and vice versa. We believe the conference will bring further cross fertilisation and pave the way for solving important problems. Particular emphasis will be put on numerical aspects of the following topics: rough paths and regularity structures in homogenous spaces; optimal mass transport; geometric integration of differential equations; Kähler-Einstein geometry.
