Mathematics and Physics of Knots
24 June - 28 June 2019
A classical field in mathematics with long and prominent history going back to at least Gauss in 1833, the study of knots has recently got a spotlight as one of the most active venues of research at the intersection of mathematics and theoretical physics. This workshop, intended as a satellite to the String-Math conference taking place in Uppsala one week later, aims to bring together researchers from both disciplines to serve as a platform for discussion and promote collaboration on this exiciting subject.
