Categorification and Higher Representation Theory
09 July - 13 July 2018
The conference aims to illuminate current trends in categorification and higher representation theory and the diverse techniques that are being employed. It will serve as a forum for both young and established researchers to learn about the tools and techniques arising in the area. The following directions will be emphasized: -Techniques for categorification at roots of unity with associated applications to low-dimensional topology. -Tensor product categorifications, connections between approaches of Webster and Rouquier, connections to knot invariants and Heegaard-Floer theory. -Super analogues of higher categories. -Classification techniques in higher representation theory.
