cover of arkiv

Arkiv för matematik was founded in 1903 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Originally it was published as part of Arkiv för matematik, astronomi och fysik. Since 1949 it has appeared in the present form and with the present name.

Arkiv för matematik is published by Institut Mittag-Leffler, a Nordic research institute for mathematics under the auspices of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

The journal contains research papers of short to moderate length in all fields of mathematics. Only in exceptional cases will papers of more than 30 pages be accepted.

One volume, consisting of two issues - in all about 400pp - is published annually.
