Non-Archimedean Geometry, Motives and Vanishing Cycles

June 26 - June 30, 2017

Recent years have witnessed important developments at the interplay between non-archimedean geometry, motives and vanishing cycles.
The workshop will  gather specialists and young researchers working in these different areas with the aim to take stock of the current state of art and to foster further interactions. In particular we intend to have lectures on the following topics: rigid motives, matrix factorizations, vanishing cycles, and derived non-archimedean geometry.

We plan to keep the number of talks small in order to put emphasis on informal discussion and interaction between participants: we intend to have three series of three lectures on the main topics of the workshop together with a limited number of single talks.
