Abstract
I will discuss some aspects of Yamabe problems of toric Kähler (or Sasaki) manifolds. We show how some basic tools of toric geometry, especially in connection with the existence of constant scalar curvature Sasaki manifolds, can be used to understand new geometric aspects of Yamabe problems, in which degenerations play a crucial role. Based on joint work with E. Legendre and C. Tønnesen-Friedman.
