Claire Frechette: A Unified Approach to Symplectic Metaplectic Ice

Abstract
In 2010, Brubaker-Bump-Chinta-Friedberg-Gunnells discovered that lattice models were an ideal tool for computing p-adic Whittaker functions on metaplectic covers of the general linear group. This approach was extended by Nathan Gray in 2017 for the symplectic group, but only in the case of odd degree covers, and does not exist yet for any other reductive group. In this talk, I will discuss a unified model for symplectic metaplectic ice that allows us to computer Whittaker functions for both odd and even covers. This is work in preparation, expected to be on the arXiv soon.
