Abstract
The first results on spectral asymptotics for the Steklov problem date back to the contributions of Sandgren and Hörmander in the 1950s. A major progress in two dimensions was achieved by Rozenblum two decades later. Despite considerable developments since then, the study of Steklov eigenvalues and eigenfunctions in the high-frequency regime remains a rapidly evolving area of research. In this talk, we provide an overview of the field, highlighting some recent advances and related open questions.
