Jonathan DeWitt: Statistical properties of expanding on average random dynamical systems

Date: 2026-06-03

Time: 10:10 - 11:00

Speaker
Jonathan DeWitt, Pennsylvania State Univeristy

Abstract
In these lectures, we will study statistical properties of random dynamical systems. The goal is the identification of open and potentially generic conditions in the space of random systems, such as being expanding or coexpanding on average, that cause the system to exhibit strong statistical properties, such as exponential mixing, the central limit theorem, and spectral gap.
