Abstract
For a set E in R^d of box dimension s, we show how to find convergent sequences in E of box dimension s, as well as sequences of any box dimension 0< t <s, using potential-theoretic arguments. The approach extends to various other definitions of dimension that can be expressed in terms of capacities.
