Abstract
In this talk, we will show how to use a short-range, repulsive Jastrow trial state to derive an upper bound on the ground state energy of a N-particles almost-bosonic anyon gas of radius R and statistical parameter \alpha. The anyons will be confined in a trapping potential and will interact via a spin-orbit interaction of strength g. The talk will first focus on the relevance of the result by discussing the different regimes obtained by scaling the parameters N, R, g and \alpha. In a second time, we will explain how can the Jastrow function be inferred from the study the two anyons problem.
