Abstract
We will discuss the continuity property of the surface area of Lagrangian submanifolds, or to be more precise its lower semi-continuity with respect to the gamma-norm, and connections with integral geometry, Floer theory, and the h-principle for isometric embeddings (the Nash theorem). This is a work in progress with Erman Cineli and Basak Gurel.
