Enrica Mazzon: Monge-Ampère measures on tropical varieties

Abstract
We study the problem of defining and solving the Monge-Ampère equation in the tropical setting. Using tropical intersection theory, we define Monge-Ampère measures for a natural class of convex functions and extend them to plurisubharmonic functions, with the aim of developing a variational approach to the equation. This framework is motivated by the study of degenerations of algebraic varieties and its connections with non-archimedean Monge-Ampère metrics.
