Abstract
Zeros of exponential polynomials arise naturally in a wide range of classical problems, from celestial mechanics to resonances in dynamical systems. In many settings, these zeros display intricate patterns that are of independent mathematical interest. In this talk, I will present recent results on the distribution of zeros of trinomials and quadrinomials with irrational exponents in the complex plane, as well as on the behaviour of their projections onto the real line. The results are based on joint work in progress with Alon Nishry.
