Abstract
In the first part of the talk, we give an introduction to Hybrid High-Order (HHO) methods for elliptic problems. These methods are closely related to Hybridizable discontinuous Galerkin (HDG) and Weak Galerkin (WG) methods. In the second part, we show how to devise HHO methods for elliptic interface problems using unfitted meshes. To stabilize ill-cut cells, we consider both cell agglomeration and polynomial extension techniques.
