Abstract
Recently, Dahl–Kröncke–McCormick have defined a geometric quantity for asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds, called the volume–renormalized mass. In this talk, we present a positive mass theorem for the volume-renormalized mass. It is obtained by a new monotonicity formula, which holds along the level sets of the minimal Green’s function of an appropriate differential operator in asymptotically hyperbolic 3–manifolds with scalar curvature greater than or equal to −6. This talk is based on a work in progress, joint with Klaus Kröncke and Alan Pinoy.
