Abstract
We present some deep learning based reduced modelling techniques applied to problems with internal interfaces and microstructure. In particular, flow and mechanics in faulted porous media, with the target application the study of fault stability, and recent studies on problems with embedded microstructure, with application to microcirculation. This is a joint work with Paolo Zunino and other collaborators at the laboratory of Modelling and Scientific Computing of the Department of Mathematics of Politecnico di Milano.
