Full circle: 100 years of the circle method

July 7 - July 11, 2025

It has been almost exactly 100 years since the circle method emerged through early papers of Ramanujan, Hardy and Littlewood.
Since its initial application to the partition function and to Waring’s problem, the method has now established itself as a vital tool sitting at the confluence of arithmetic algebraic geometry, discrete harmonic analysis, and additive combinatorics. The primary goal of this workshop will be to disseminate cutting edge results involving the circle method, in addition to shaping the course of research in the century to come.
